Ever wondered what happens on a Tall Ship? Follow the voyage of Tall Ships “Morgenster” and “Maybe” in the videos below.
Last year 4 of 5 ships sailed from Belfast to Dublin, and arrived in Port on Friday 29th May, just in time for the Dublin Port Riverfest. Soteria, Johanna Lucretia, Irene and Gulden Leeuw all arrived safely and thousands of visitors enjoyed seeing them and experiencing tours on the Gulden Leeuw before her departure late on Saturday.
Sailing down from Belfast as crew on these ships was an amazing opportunity open to anyone interested in experiencing life at sea on a traditional ship. Participants who signed up for this four day voyage were from age 16 to 68! You don’t need to sign up with anyone, you will be placed on a ship that suits your age, fitness level and experience and there are plenty of people traveling alone.
